DESCRIPTION
This unique 35-floor building measures 144 metres in height. Torre Agbar, the new symbol of Barcelona’s skyline, was designed by the architect Jean Nouvel, who found inspiration in the land, nature and architectural legacy of Antoni Gaudí and the nearby mountains of Montserrat, in collaboration with B720 architecture studio, lead by Fermin Vazquez.
The tower consists of two non-concentric oval cylinders crowned by a glass and steel dome. In its interior, the tower is completely free of columns.
