María José Duch Navarro (Barcelona 1960) and Francisco Pizá Alabern (Palma 1958) have shared an office in Palma since 1994. In between other projects, they have completed the remodeling of the Plaza de Cort (City Hall of Palma), the Center "Sa Gerrería" (Vocational School), the City Hall for Tías (Lanzarote), renovation of the Casal Balaguer, school buildings, housing for the IBAVI and Patronato Municipal, and various office buildings. Awards that they have earned include: first prize in EUROPAN III competition, the "City of Palma" renovation and the Architecture Award of Mallorca 2002-2003 with six nominations. On two occasions, Mª José Duch has obtained first prize for the National Competition for the Bagués jewelry store. They have been invited on two occasions by the C.O.A.C to lecture and exhibit their work on the cycle of Catalan architecture.
