Fermín Vázquez was born in Madrid 42 years ago, studied architecture and then made a huge leap and moved to London. It was there where he began to work with Chapman Taylor and YRM Architects. Years later, he became Professor of Projects of the Cátedra Mies Van der Rohe, for the Escuela Técnica Superior of Barcelona. Today he directs a team of 48 professionals at b720 arquitectos, with offices in Barcelona and Madrid. b720's ability has opened many doors to enable collaboration with prestigious foreign colleagues. The most symbolic project is the Agbar Tower of Barcelona, in which they worked together with Jean Nouvel, the tower's creator. Furthermore, b720 is in the process of developing Judicial City of Barcelona in colaboration with David Chipperfield. At the present time, the office is working on 20 projects: housing and office buildings in Madrid and Barcelona and a convention center in Terrassa.
