Layetana Developments is a property development company founded in 1964. It has what could be described as a certain 'restlessness’ when it comes to innovation This influences the projects it carries out, the services it offers its clients and the way it organises work.

We follow our business model:

We are property developers. We start off with ideas about products and services and we then invest our money into the process of developing them. We are not investors or project managers. When we have added value to a project, we sell it.

With every single development, we identify with absolute clarity who the actual 'client' is so that we design a product to meet their needs. In the case of the general public, we determine which is our target segment, while in the case of companies or institutions, we give each and every one our dedicated attention so that we can meet their specific property needs.

Our regional expansion is city based on urban expansion. We establish ourselves and remain in those markets which appear attractive to us. Our aim is to contribute to the overall wealth of each community and to be one more of its members.

	Layetana is a privately held company focused exclusively on real estate development.

	The company’s business model is based on:

	Product differentiation based on function, design and sustainability. We are focused on the middle market. We take full development risk in the residential business and a more limited risk in the commercial business. Our global competence and local presence allows us to follow a city-based expansion. We do business only in countries or cities that have long term growth perspectives. We leverage our equity by investing our funds along with our partners in all our projects.

	We want to be innovators in the property market. Which is why:

	In 1985 we were pioneers in Spain when we developed Las Arcadias: the first apartment complexes with services and communal areas specifically designed for senior citizens

	In 1992 we developed the first urban leisure centre in Spain.

	In 2001 we started building the Torre Agbar in Barcelona . The tower was designed as the head office for Grupo Agbar and was completed in 2004.

	In 2004 we designed , La Mola the first high-level meeting campus in Spain . This hotel was specially conceived for national and international companies to hold their executive meetings.

	In 2005 we started an international expansion process with the opening of a new office in Warsaw. Besides, we are systematically applying technological solutions and sustainable criteria to improve the buildings and dwellings we develop.
