	Layetana and Jean Nouvel win the tender to develop the Signal Tower, the highest sky-scraper ever designed in Paris The Signal Tower aims at becoming the symbol of renovation in the financial district of La Défense as well as the new icon of the city, at the same height as the Eiffel Tower. The project will be 300 m high and will take up an area of 140,000 m2 for multiple uses: offices, dwellings, one hotel and shopping areas.

The project includes a landscape layout in horizontal lines which deform and so create a series of sinuous-looking public areas.
