Carlos García Delgado is Professor of Architecture and Industrial Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Barcelona . He has been a professor at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London , at the Barcelona School of Architecture and at the School of Industrial Engineering in Barcelona , where he is currently a lecturer on its doctorate course. He has drafted Special Plans for various historic centres, such as the ones in Málaga and Palma and he formed part of the planning team for the Olympic Rings and the Olympic Stadium for the Barcelona Games.

Carlos García Delgado is the author of various books including Arquitectura Tradicional de la Isla de Mallorca (1993), La Casa Popular Mallorquina (1996) and Las Raíces de Palma (2000). He is a member of the governing body of the Balearic Islands College of Architects.
